I am 28

11.10.2006 was my birthday. Thank you to all of you whom wished me =) So sweet.

On my birthday, it was quiet in the office, I had lunch with my baby, and after work, went for movie with him ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. As much as he hates Chick flicks, he watched it for one reason and only one, me. And guess what, he enjoyed it! After the movie went to Chillis and had Chocolate Molten Cake, yummy! He wrote me a poem, and as usual, made me cry. IDIOT! *sniggers*

Review: The Devil Wears Prada. Meryl Streep was excellent! She played her character, ice queen as I call it, so well. Anne Hathaway seems to be getting stereotyped these days. Un-fashionable gal, meets older woman changes herself, becomes pretty beyond words! Same thing here too. Look out for some good cinematography, you must see it to understand it =) Did not read the book so not sure which was better.

Came home, hugged b and slept.

The next day, my wonderful sweet boss sent me flowers. 12 bright happy yellow (my fav color) roses! And they made my day. *blush*

Had dinner with family in PJ for seafood and after that went jalan jalan as there was no parking where we live, thanks to pasar malam! Decided to stroll around Mid Valley, and bumped into a friend, Sabri who was going to watch a movie alone, we teman him, and watched another chick flick: John Tucker must die!

Review: John Tucker must die:Same shit different smell. Boy likes gal, gal pretends to like boy, boy got bro, gal likes bro, everyone is happy. But this movie had some really good lines and not an impressive cast but who brought their roles justice. Watch this movie when you want to laugh.Watch  out for Ashanti and the DDG Gardener from Desperate Housewives - we dont know his name, we just need to know his eyes, smile and *gulp* bo-d.

My Baby is flying to UK tomorrow morning , and he will be there for 1 whole week! The longest we have been apart so far. I am gonna miss him loads! But I will be busy preparing myself for Deepavali.

Weekend’s coming up, what’s your plan?

Actually, Anne Hathaway has only done 3 movies that portray her as a young unsophisticated girl who gets made over by older women; The Princess Diaries 1 & 2 and The Devil Wears Prada.

Incidentally, the word cinematography means “The art or technique of movie photography, including both the shooting and development of the film.” I studied film in London and felt I needed to point out its true meaning.

And while I’m sure this is a well-made film, I doubt that the cinematography itself is that spectacular. You must mean wardrobe/costumes/couture. And yes, I agree the clothes would be spectacular.

Happy Belated Birthday Woman! This coming of age means you can now change car batteries on your own! Ha2

Li Yen: Like I said, you must watch the movie to understand. Good for you “suka” that you studied film in London, don’t remember me asking someone to do an F7 on my blog. Anyway, thank you for your not needed comments! By the way, as the author, I am offended. Please do not leave any further similiar offensive, ‘Oh I am Great, I know so much of things’ comments, whoever you are!
Nickson: Thanks man! Aiyoh getting older lah.. going to be 30 soon.
