Snugle and Sleep

Tuesday, September 26th, 2006

After all that had happened last week, this weekend was all about sleep, snuggle and lots of loving from my man!

Laundry show was ok. So nice to meet up with old friends, William (my boy), Eujin, Eddie (twosides bitch), Mooky *not to be mistaken with Pop Shuvit Moots, this guy is even cuter!*, Rahul, Adam & Amil of Dragon Red and more! It was so nice to watch OBS perform live again, bringing back old memories, especially the sing-along part.

The party at Sunway Beach and Surf was okay, really. The mc was boring and nothing much was happening. After that went to fetch my colleague, Jullie. Then was off to Karaoke with my colleagues.

Wah Kelab D’Vegas, the place we were happily singing out of tune, was quite happening. Unlike other karaoke joints, you have a butler who claps his/her hand every time someone finishes singing and they are constantly in the room to serve you. There is this nice fruit basket carved and all set for you and the place is HUGE! Anyway, my boss Amin, and Rozie from Astro were really doing their stuff. It was a fun outing, really.

Saturday and Sunday I stayed home =)

Now back to work and am a vegetarian for one week as it is "Navartahiri" .The last day of the prayers known as "Vijaya Dhesami" is my Indian birthday. So it is good if I take this fast. Anyway, that was a bit of Indian education for you guys *wink*

Now back in the office and cant wait to celebrate my one year anniversary with my baby!!!! My only bf whom I am celebrating this anniversary with. Woo-Hoo

Movies, Music & Parties

From my last blog entry, nothing great has happened… However, some interesting things are bound to come their way =)

Presented an idea to my team this week on a TV Gameshow. Ironically everthing that I proposed for was changed. But you know something, at the end of the day, it is still my IDEA! Yee ha- People watch out for a new game show comin soon to a TV near you muahahahah

Okay last night I watched "Jillunu Oru Kaathal", a Tamil movie starring both my favourite actor (Surya) and actress (Jyothika). Now, how was the movie? Well, honestly, it was good to finally see the two act in a movie as a couple when you know that they are REALLY in love in REAL life too. Yes people, these two actors have been in love for almost 11 years before tying the knot on the controversial Sept 11 date. You can read all about their love story here. It was nice to watch a Tamil movie as I do not have anyone to go and watch with, hence I went with my two cousin sisters. Thanks Nesa and Vanaja! - My last Tamil Movie in Theatre is Anniyan.

Tonight I will be at Laundry at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara, to watch Singletrackmind, One Buck Short and Telebury perform live for the Bazooka Performance there. Excited cause I will be meeting my very good friend, team mate my lil brother, William, and hopefully Foo and also the lead guitarist of OBS, Rahul Kukreja!

Tomorrow, if I do not blog, I will be at The Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach for a party there. I received a very nice invite that came along with a gift! The guys at Sunway are sooo sweet eh? *wink*

Well, now I am in the office waiting for my loving BF to come so we can go and watch the show.. in the meantime.. I shall dig more news about Jyothika and Suriya

What’s going on?

Been a very boring week, hence not much to update here.

Neways, organised a day or indulgence for everyone in the office last Friday, 15th. At 12.30pm we left the office to Manja Vila, a spa in Ampang. 3 hours of pure relaxation. Body scrub, Scalp Massage, Foot Spa, Body Massage and finally a a very nice facial spa. And guess what, people said I looked different. My face looked nicer. Hmm perhaps they actually work? I think am gonna be a member there soon. Perhaps, perhaps perhaps *hey I get half price k if member!*

And then we head to our hotel, Ascot and freshened up. Then we head over to Shang Ri-La for dinner. Yummy buffet dinner. Everyone loved the chocolate fountain.. sigh.. kids! Finally we finished our day of indulgence with a splash *more like a binge* of alcohol. 9 bottles in total. Vodka *my fav*, JDs and Moet (Champagne).. Lots of dancing.. Fun fun fun!

Finally after all that tiresome activities, we rested at the hotel and played an ice breaking, i-had-no-idea-about-that-in-you game. It was quite fun, till a non-Beyonder came.. that was like a turn off for me. My mood was lost and I was not in it at all.. sigh..

Anyways, the weekend was okay.. Nothing much..

Last night, my b and I were at pizza hut and I had my favourite Sate Supreme.. Yes it is back! Funny how sometimes a pizza sells so well, and they don maintain that as an item in the menu.. why? You know you are gonna be making money.. silly silly people lah.

Will be getting some dosh soon. plan to start saving that money.. kekek my baby says he is taking me to Melaka.. and I am excited.. Thanks b!!!

Gone are the days of the crocodile hunter

Steve Irwin passed away in a tragic death yesterday morning (Aus time) after being attacked by a Sting Ray Barb that went right through his heart.

He was the man who taught us to love creepy crawlers and freaky amphibians. He will be terribly missed. I personally do not watch his programs, and it is nothing personal. But the thing is, I cant stand those animals who surround him man! I cringe!

As ironic as it sounds, he dedicated his whole life to wildlife, educating the world the beauty of ’some’ animals you never imagined can be tame, and yet, his life was taken by a member of the wildlife. Isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think?

Back at home (news), my cough STILL has not gone. Anyone has a remedy for this? Please jot down your magic and lemme know. It is sooo annoying! Help!

Life has not shifted gear to "exciting" yet, when it does, you will be the first to know. Looking forward to meeting up with William, Foo and Tarry tomorrow if they can make it *wink*

Purr.. Kuching was Fantastic! Here I was, all anxious to meet my possibly future mother in law, and guess what? It went very well. She is a darling!

My trip there: Met his best friend, Choo, partied every night (yeah Kuching rocks), had tomato mee, Kolok Mee and laksa, met Max, his dog, saw beautiful huge houses, shopped (of course!) and much more.

His mom: She is sweet and very easy to get along with. I helped her in the kitchen with the pie-making, She was pleased *grin*. The pies tasted yummy and something about my man’s house, you can never run out of food.

However, I did not meet his grandparents cause err.. well timing was quite bad lah. But I am sure there will be another time.

Now back in KL and wish I was still in laid back town Kuching. I love that place. I may be bored after some time, but thank god for Astro =)

B, love you lots! Thank you much for taking me home.
