My Vacation in Penang
Sunday, November 6th, 2005Did not know wat to title this blog, so aptly named it as it is.. Sigh.. what a VACATION!!!!! Thanks to a special someone, life is looking too good to be true. I raise my glass to him and say "Thank You" for EVERYTHING! Here is a recap on all aspects of the Vacation:
Food: I was in Penang, it could never go wrong. Though my fav Cha Kuey Teow + Lap Cheong resulted in my food poisoning. The Crabs (not very good eh? Should have ordered the black pepper one), the steamed Prawns ("someone" happily peeled it for me and fed me "oink oink"), buttered prawns (I deshelled and fed "someone"), laksa, and yummy yummy ice kacang! Ochin tasty!
Travelling: Hmm one thing I noticed on my trip to Penang this time, most roads are one way!!!! Unbeliveable.. so lots of turning here and there.. but this time I had "someone" to drive me around in my car.. so coool!!!
Accomodation: The Gurney Hotel was a good place to stay strategically located at the heart of Penang, with accesibility to the sea, seafood and food (uh??) However, thanks to the leaking air cond that never got fixed, and the partial seaview that we were not happy with, and the overlooking of a construction site, it was an ok place to be… the buffet breakfast spread was ok too.. not bad! and service.. not 5 *
Weather: It rained the first day we were there, guess the weather just wanted us to chill and have cheesecake instead. After that it was all sunny all the way.. was nice to feel warm sun on my skin…
Company: Wow… Amazing.. Perfect.. *in cloud nine* * in blissful happiness*.. sigh..
Remember I said something about make/break.. it was more than a make.. sigh.. If you are asking me, am I sure.. my answer: you can never be sure…
apart from that, my road tax expired, completely overlooked my summons, paid RM350 for it, broke and sad cause cant renew my roadtax till my summons clear… sigh.. cant drive for a couple of days!!! NO!!!!
Now overloaded with work.. Back to the busy bee Kajai duracel bunny workaholic.. sigh…
