1st Annual musiccanteen awards nite
It is finally over!!! 1 month of hardwork and it all finally paid off!!! To think that 1) It did not rain 2) The technical parts did not screw up 3) Everyone behaved 4) The Gods approved all our suggestions 5) 350 people did not turn up! Woo hooo
For those of you who were there, thank you. For those of you were not there, ahahah you missed it! (see pics they are up di!)
It was nice seeing so many people honoured for all their good job done! And to be suprised by Jakeman & Skeletor of Hitz fooling around on stage. To see some "superstars" or wannabes when they go up and take prizes. To meet Steven Patrick (who by the way is a cutie!!!!! Nice smile) and to meet so many people in and out of the industry.
Unfortunately, my job was not a very happening role that day, I was incharge of backstage and floor and the bitch who was busy paging everyone on the walkie to make sure all is smooth, cause I am also the q for the host, Sarimah Ibrahim.
It was a good show, the whole team did an amazing work, Nothing went wrong!!!! It was so nice seeing all of it being paid off.. I was so worried something may go wrong that day, but I guess we pulled it off!
An amazing closing performance by Dragon Red and One Buck Short!!! Money cant buy stuff. That was definitely the best performance that night. Unbelievable and unbeatable way to end the show.
After event was cool too.. stayed until almost 3am.. packing and dismantling. A HUGE shout out to my team, my partners in crime, my boys: William (baby) Gavin (coma) and Foo (Wonder). Without their dedication and hardwork, I know for sure this event would not have been what it was last night.
A special dedication to a dear friend and colleague, Min Huey, Thanks for everything gal. We will miss you at PGi.. and I shall miss you dearly as my roomate when we travel.
It was also the last event William, my baby handle as part of the events team as he will depart and move to musiccanteen officially end of this month. This is heart wrecking, but sometimes you have to let go.. But I will make sure he stays close to my heart.. ok baby fingers??? muaks..
Today a bit weary cause went for a nice massage, but now my shoulders hurt (think she was too rough on my super smooth skin.. eehhh perasan!) but refreshed a bit lah.. but I know I’ve learned a few tips on how to make my massage prowess better.. massage anyone?
Saturday I went to one u with my best friend Sharon. Sigh.. so much happened.. I parked at new wing, wanting to go old wing, ended up still at new wing, took car to go park at old wing, took illegal turn broke the Ganesha statue in the car (bad or good hard to tell, but it is a sign of bad omen), parked and still could not find old wing, had coffee bean, and when heading home time, no shillings in car, had to change with strangers, machine did not accept coins, changed another machine, finally left! No more going one u, especially with her.
Changes,.,. I hate that.. especially when someone starts to treat me differently. I wont be able to take it. Friends are dear to me, and I do my level best to make sure that that touch is not lost, but when things change, I kinda get paranoid and very depressed. People can change, but you do not change the way you treat someone.. do you?
